Joseph

Joseph
Friedman chose a career in filmmaking because of his love
for documentaries and his fascination with the real world.
One of his earliest assignments as cinematographer was

Nebraska farm and ranching family that was produced and
directed by Robert Duvall. He shot Duvall's second feature,
"Angelo My Love", with New York Gypsies in a fictional
story. His work with Barbara on the highly acclaimed
documentary, "Martha and Ethel", was the start of a
collaboration that would continue for more than a decade. He
has shot numerous documentaries and docu-dramas which have
appeared on HBO, The Discovery Channel, PBS and NBC. He
resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife,
Jeanne and his Norwich Terrier, Monty.
